Am I obsessed with Stardew Valley? 🍃
Happy New Year to you all! 🎉
Am I wishing you all 28 days since the new year? Yes, I am. 😌
I chose to switch from tinyletter to substack as I wasn’t happy with the formatting of the former. Substack keeps things more organized and it’s easier for me to include images as I go.
And I have found so many amazing newsletters to read here! Check out the “Reads” section for those! 😎
So, what have I been up to “recently”? 👀
i) First artwork of 2023! I have a ritual of my first drawing being for the new commission sheet of the year. 💛 My commissions are open and you can find all the info by clicking on the button.
ii) One of my goals for the year is to go out and live-sketch! It’s always a good time to use the art-supplies and many, many, MANY sketchbooks I’ve collected. 😋
I’m sharing some pages from my sketchbook below!
What are your goals for 2023? 😊
You can have access to more sketchbook pages and WIPs by supporting me on Ko-fi~
iii) I draw bi-monthly phone wallpapers for my supporters on Ko-fi! A compilation of these are now available for purchase! 🛍️ Give yourself a pretty wallpaper of your liking!
iv) If you want to purchase prints of my art, INPRNT has a week long 15% OFF SALE to which I’ve added a 10% OFF! 🎉 So, you can buy my prints for 25% OFF! WOO-HOO!
i) STARDEW VALLEY!!! 🍃 The game that owns me and the free-time I don’t have now. 😂 I got the game almost 5 weeks ago and I’ve (happily) managed to log 60+ hours in 20 days, when I had just bought it. I am a gamer™️ now. (Don’t ask how many hours I’ve played it as of today. Nope.) It is exactly what I wanted in a game! 💛
A picture of my Sunshine Farm~ ☀️
(one picture only as the process of taking screenshots and sharing them is way too much for me to bother with and it takes time away from actually playing the game. 😂)
ii) Over the holidays, I was out of creative juice to draw new art and comics for my portfolio. Sitting down and sketching new ideas was not at all appealing. This led to me learning how to embroider!~ 🪡
Out of the blue, one afternoon after lunch, I asked (demanded, really) my mom to show me how to do embroidery. It’s been quite some time for her, so it took a little while to figure it out and below are some of my attempts since! 🙌🏽
It’ll be great to keep doing more as and when I get the time! 🤩
You can read each issue of this newsletter a week early by supporting me on Ko-fi~
See you all next time! 💛
Thank you so much for reading!
